Fish Watching in Krabi & Phuket

When I travel to Krabi, I always make sure to pay a visit to one of the fish viewing areas. The waters here are crystal clear, so you don’t even have to leave the boat to get a good look at all the colorful sea creatures. Plus, the terrain here is so beautiful, it really adds to the amazing atmosphere. Phuket is another great place to go fish watching, as there are many pristine beaches and coral reefs teeming with sea life. I like to go in the winter months when the weather is mild and there is little rain.

Blu-O Bowling Pattaya & SF Bowling

When I want to relax with friends, we head to the Blu-O Bowing alley in Pattaya (www.majormyclub.com). This chic alley features some really cool decorations and a modern ambience, perfect for a great night out. They also have karaoke rooms, where I like to practice my singing skills and show off some dance moves! At the SF Bowling alley in Bangkok you can also party it up on 26 lanes or take pleasure in the karaoke rooms while enjoying some of the newest hits around. Don’t tell anyone, but I usually take my first dates to these places because they are so much fun!

Banana Boat & Jet Ski Pattaya

When I get tired of being lazy on the beach, I like to head out on a banana boat for a little exhilaration. These inflatable rafts are towed by powerful speedboats and take you on a wave hopping adventure in the Gulf of Thailand…just watch out when the driver tries to throw you off! If I want to go solo, I can rent a jet ski at one of the many venues along the beach. Jet skis are so much fun, as you effortlessly glide on the water. These two activities are best in the winter months when there is not much rain and the surf is relatively calm.

ATV in Cha-am & Kao Yai

This is one of my favorite ways to explore the tropical jungles of Thailand. At the Cha-am ATV park (+66 (0) 8 9200 3265) you can take one of these powerful machines and run through a vast array of trails. It’s so wonderful to get a close up look at the nature in Cha-am. When I’m in Kao Yai, I always try to find local ATV venues for a cruise on one of the many nature trails that allow you to explore a totally different setting from any other place in Thailand.
